Tiki Bar Soap {Review}

I received a prize pack from Tiki Bar Soap to facilitate this review & giveaway. All opinions are honest and my own.

As you know, I'm a big fan of natural products. The more I seek them out, the more I'm finding that the best way to get them is from somebody who makes them by hand. In fact, I was looking for some handmade soap the other day, and stumbled across Tiki Bar Soap.

All of their soaps are produced via the cold process method using only the finest oils and butters. They are vegan soaps that are phthalate, sulfate, petroleum, and paraben free. All of the natural glycerin is retained during the soapmaking process, making the soap extra moisturizing. In addition, they superfat their soaps 5% (5% excess oils remain) to increase the moisturizing qualities. Tiki Bar Soaps are all very luxe and moisturizing.

I've been having a blast trying out some of their products:

Dead Sea Facial Soap
This soap is the ultimate luxury spa experience, the scent of the soap was very calming, and left my face feeling very clean. I'd suggest this soap to anyone! If you have breakouts, a natural facial soap is just what you need. Skin not prone to breakouts can reap the benefits of it's natural goodness:
  • Made with saltwater-filtered dead sea mud from Jordan
  • Green Sea Clay - tones and clarifies
  • Bamboo Charcoal -  remove impurities and toxins from skin
  • Lavandin and Ylang Ylang Essential Oil - opens the senses to calm and relax your skin as well as your mind after a long day
With proper use this facial bar will last well over a year, if used to wash your face morning and evening.

All Tiki Bar Soaps are formulated for use on the entire body, although this soap is specifically formulated for use on your face, you can bathe with it as well! The unique combination of vegetable oils produces a bar that is moisturizing, has a rich, fluffy lather, and is hard and long lasting. Your bar will last a long time if you keep it dry between uses.

Stress Relief Bath Salts
These bath salts smell amazing! Just one whiff, and you'll feel like you're at a luxurious day spa! I don't have a chance to take a relaxing bath with two little kids around 24/7, but I do like to take a capfull, dump it in the shower while the drain is pulled up to give my feet a nice, relaxing soak.

These stress relief bath salts are made with relaxing and calming lavandin essential oil, and contain real lavender and Egyptian chamomile flowers. The salts are from the great salt lake in Salt Lake City, UT and are mixed with Epsom salts to create a mineral rich infusion to relax tired muscles and calm your mind after a long and stressful day. You only need about a tablespoon or two of these salts added to your water to transform your tub into a relaxing soak. These bath salts can be used to soak tired feet as well.

Laundry Soap (unscented)
When it comes to laundry soap at our house, fewer ingredients is always better.... and it can get any better than Tiki Bar Laundry Soap. It contains one ingredient - washing powder. It's perfect for anyone who is looking to remove harsh chemicals from their life. So far, it has worked great on Phoenix's laundry - who has sensitive skin. I also used it to wash a batch of stinky workout clothes, and they all came out smelling nice and clean. :)

Acai Berry Lip Gloss
I'll admit it... I'm a lip gloss addict. If you're used to store-brand lip gloss, natural lip gloss is something you've gotta try! it glides on smooth, and leaves your lips feeling soft, supple and smooth... not waxy.

This lip gloss is made from all natural ingredients like acai butter and sweet almond oil to moisturize your lips. The acai berry is a known antioxidant, and this lip gloss is packed with acai goodness. Rose mica was added to give the balm a glossy, slightly rosy tint. It is also vegan and cruelty free because it has candelilla wax (a vegetable based wax) in place of beeswax.
This is truly a unique item you will not find anywhere else!

Star Anise and Bamboo Charcoal Soap
This soap is hands-down my favorite. It smells like black licorice... so yummy! It's my go-to bar for everything... from showers to simply washing hands, this soap has earned a permanent place in our bathroom.

It's made with detoxifying bamboo charcoal and star anise essential oil. The tops of the the soap are decorated with real star anise pods and stamped the soap with the Tiki Bar Soap logo dipped in pearl mica.

All Tiki Bar Soaps are formulated for use on the entire body. The unique combination of vegetable oils produces a bar that is moisturizing, has a rich, fluffy lather, and is hard and long lasting. Your bar will last a long time if you keep it dry between uses.
