With the holidays around the corner, it can be hard to find something just right for all of the important people in our lives. It seems like everybody has everything they need... but what if you could find those people the perfect gift... something just for them... and something they never even knew existed? That's where UncommonGoods comes in.

Gifts For Everyone
No matter who you're shopping for, UncommonGoods has got you covered.

About UncommonGoods
Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique designs and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment and without harm to animals or people. They run all our operations out of the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, including their warehouse where the lowest-paid seasonal worker starts at 50% above the minimum wage. They make it their mission to support and provide a platform for artists and designers; in fact, half of what they sell is made by hand. Most of the products UncommonGoods carries are created right here in the USA, and about one-third of our entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. At the core of this company is a great respect for the integrity of the creative individual and the belief that it is their responsibility to use their business to impact the world in a positive way.

  • A Proud B Corp
B Corporations use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. UncommonGoods is  proud to be a founding B Corp since the B seal means that they meet a rigorous standard on a wide range of issues, including wage levels, environmental impact, and giving back to the community.

My Perfect Gift
I recently picked out my perfect gift... a handcrafted walnut cutting board & trivet.

This multifunctional board packs form and function in a beautifuly handmade package. The richly grained, solid walnut board is smoothly finished on one side for an ideal cutting board surface, and sports incised, geometric patterns on the flipside to serve as a textured trivet. When not serving either function, it can hang on a kitchen or dining room wall as an artful accent to any d├ęcor. This beautiful piece was handmade by Dan Sjogren in Denver, Colorado.
